Seeking Adults to Explore New Treatment Options for Erosive Esophagitis

What is Erosive Esophagitis (EE)?

Erosive Esophagitis (EE) is a severe form of acid reflux, causing a fiery sensation in the chest or throat. It leads to tiny sores in the food pipe, requiring attention and care to manage discomfort.

What's involved?

Participants will have the opportunity to explore the benefits and potential side effects of a once daily oral treatment. This study aims to compare its effectiveness with a standard control in both healing EE and maintaining its healing over time.

About the aim of the study:

Our primary goal is to understand the safety and effectiveness of the once-daily oral administration of tegoprazam when compared to a PPI control. This research will focus on its role in healing EE initially and then its ability to maintain this healing over a period of 24 weeks.
