    About Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are research studies performed on human subjects that

aim to evaluate a new medical, surgical or behavioral intervention. They are

the primary way that researchers find out if a new treatment: such as a new

drug, diet or medical device will be effective in helping to address ongoing

    medical concerns.
